Customs & Excise for VAT information, form and guides on VAT. Now part of HM Revenue & Customs. Companies House have forms for and information about UK registered companies, guidance notes for directors and related material.
The DTI supply information on employment law, redundancy rates, up to date minimum wage requirements and various business information, grants and other useful information. UK Online is the link to numerous other UK Government websites The Information Commissioner is the governments Data Protection Act organisation. If you hold information about people you should check whether you should be registered. AVOID getting caught out by various fraudulent companies claiming to be registering agents. Visit the governments website for correct details about registering. |
