BACKGROUND

Introduction

STEP TWO: AMLR Consent Form

Step One was reading our web page about AMLR documents that we are required to obtain and keep up to date for all clients, and how we obtain those documents in a compliant way.

Step three will be providing the a) photo ID and b) current address ID via our AMLR provider, AMLCC.com (when we notify you that process has been initiated).

This is the email address via which almcc.com will request the AMLR proof of ID documents.

Your Mobile Telephone Number (no spaces)

Will be used by almcc.com to send OTPs (One-time passwords) and instructions etc.

AMLR - COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTS

Once we notify you we have initiated step 3 (supplying the documents) you will have 7 days to complete the process (for added security).

Due to regulatory factors, the costs of collating this information, storing it securely, and other associated costs, obtaining these documents via our chosen provider, almcc.com is our preferred method of you supplying the key documents to us.

Additional Costs (if documents not provided via almcc.com)

I accept that not providing via almcc.com will make AMLR compliance more difficult, and will add time and costs to this process. T4 may need to charge £48 incl vat to cover those additional costs.

Having the documents ready

I will ensure that I will have these documents ready to upload when they are requested.

Having the original documents ready in advance will make the process quicker and easier. Have your password and driving licence to hand and a bank statement (in .PDF format) under 3 months old, or utility bill / council tax bill (in .PDF format) under 12 months old.

Time Scale (within 7 days)

I understand that once the process is started by T4, it needs to completed with amlcc.com within 7 days (time limit is set by amlcc.com)

You will get automatic reminders (check spam and junk folders) - T4 are charged by AMLCC each time we initiate step 3 of this process. We do not pass this cost on clients but may pass costs on to clients if the 7 day window is ignored.

Additional Costs (if not provided via amlcc.com within 7 days)

I accept that if I don't provide the information to amlcc.com within 7 days T4 may need to charge for 2nd or further requests

We have to pay a charge for this service to amlcc.org. If the documents are not provided within the 7 days we will incur further costs and charges. We need to be able to recover those additional costs (if incurred).

T4 usually only collect information from clients via our own website. On this sole occasion we are using a third party amlcc.com. No supplier of ours will ever contact you asking for information or documentation without us personally notifying you first. Always check with us if you are in any doubt.

T4 approach

At T4 one of our team (that you know) we will always contact you personally where we need to obtain any sensitive or personal information or documents.

You should always be very careful to check for fake or scam emails and other messages.

If you are ever in doubt a message or request is genuinely from T4 you should ignore it and contact us directly to let us know.

PROOF OF ID - PHOTO

Ideally Photo ID should be UK documents, either passport or driving licence

What Photo ID document will you provide to us via amlcc.com?

UK Passport (in date and unexpired)

UK Driving Licence (in date and unexpired)

Non UK Passport or Driving Licence (in date and unexpired)

I don't have ANY of these photo ID

Only one form of Photo ID needs to be submitted via almcc.com. Bus passes, Student ID cards, and other forms of Photo ID are not acceptable.

Is the photo on the document a good likeness of your current appearance?

Yes, the photo is a reasonable likeness

No, my appearance has changed since the ID photo was taken

If your appearance has changed significantly since the Photo ID document was issued we may not be able to use the biometric method of obtaining these documents. We will discuss this with you before initiating step 3 (providing the documents).

Don't have a current, in date, passport or driving licence?

AMLR regulations require T4 to hold current, in date, qualifying photo and address ID for all clients. 

There are a very limited type of photo ID and address ID we are allowed to accept. Therefore if you cannot provide these we may not be able to act for you.

Expired Documents

I confirm that when I renew my passort or driving licence I will provide T4 with an updated copy

PROOF OF ID - CURRENT ADDRESS

Proof of address ID must be recent, relate to the address you currently live at, have your name and full address on them.

What form of Proof of Current Address can you provide?

Recent Bank Statement showing account number and sort code (less than 3 months old)

Utility Bill (e.g. gas, electric, water rates) (less than 3 months old)

Council tax bill (current council tax year)

HMRC Statement or letter (less than 12 months old)

OR, I cannot provide any of the above address ID documents

It is important that these documents are recent, ideally less than 3 months old, and MUST HAVE your name and address on it.

Unable to provide these common forms of proof of address?

AMLR regulations require T4 to hold current, in date, qualifying address ID for all clients. 

If you are unable to provide us with a copy of one of these recent documents with your current address on it, we may not be able to act for you.

Change of Address

I confirm that I will notify T4 promptly if I change address and provide up to date address ID when the previous document is out of date.
